A word from Aminah :-)

The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "There is an
hour on Friday in which no bondsman asks God for something but He grants
it to him [sooner or later]." They [Muslims] inquired, "Which hour is it
Messenger of God?" He replied, "When the [Friday] prayer commences until
it is completed."

A good scarce hadīth reported by at-Tirmithiy: "The Book of Prayers", in
Sunan at-Tirmithiy: hadīth number 492, narrated by Amr Ibn-Awf Ibn-Zayd
Ibn-Malhah al-Muzaniy.

Assalamu alaykum dear Adage members,

I got a beautiful mail this morning and I thought to share it with you
because it is really about what we do in Adage and how important that is to
Muslims around the world. I have a friend, an American Muslim from
Texas who used to be my neighbor here in Canada for some months. Her legal name is Sharon Cox but the name she chose
to herself after converting to Islam is "Aminah". I told her about Adage
when we launched the website, like I told many others, but I never expected
this. She is referring to the above hadith from our website in this mail of
genuine gratitude!

This is to say alhamdu liLlah first, and to thank each and every one of you.
It is due to your hard work that the words of the Prophet, may God's peace
and blessings be upon him, reached a Muslim in need! It was meant to be that
we get this kind gesture in Ramadan to reassure us that we are on the right
track and to never underestimate what we do here in Adage no matter how big
or small our role is.

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatu dear Rasha!

May this find you with restored health and the highest iman..

I am writing to thank you for all your work for adage. Alhamdulilaah, this
is so beautiful that is translated for the one who does not read arabia. I
learned the best thing about prayers, the one that is answered sooner or
later when prayed in the Friday prayers.

I had been missing prayers at the masjid due to the stresses of work and
feeling guilty for leaving work. Subhanallah, when I read this translation I
have not missed jumah prayers again. What I did not know before. I know now
this is the truth. Thank you for this precious gift. May Allah reward
everyone involved in His beautiful work. Ameen.

Allah has answered so many of these prayers and the work is much easier. I
have been sent so many people at work to help me with the clinic. Though
they are not muslim, they have stated almost without deviation, "I prayed
for God to guide me to the job I should take and I want to work here with
you". The clinic is turning around and I can see the difference it has made.
Alhamudillaah.

I pray that this is a great Ramadan for you and your dear family. May Allah
make our fasting not a burden but a joy. May He accept our duaa, obedience
and sincerity. May Allah guide us in this life and grant us His peace and
mercy. Ameen.

Masalaama,

Aminah
